Through almost all of my labor as hard as it was we chanted a prayer over and over and over. It helped me so much and stands out probably as the best part of the whole ordeal. And it was most certainly a spiritual journey. I came out the other side profoundly changed (and yet still the same person in an odd way that I can't quite explain properly in an LJ comment.
